About Hayden
Hayden is a freelance session drummer and percussionist based in Sydney.
He has extensive performance and recording credits. He is currently playing with Mark Vincent, Farrah Dise and AJ Stanton as well as also working with the Sydney Youth Orchestra.
Hayden was also part of the NSW Public Schools Symphony Orchestra with which he has performed at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Sydney Opera House for The 'Arts Unit: In Concert' series. He has performed as drummer for the NSW Schools Spectacular as well as drummer and principal percussionist for Southern Stars at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong. Hayden has also played on numerous theatre shows including '& Juliet', 'Carrie', 'Into the Woods', 'The Sound of Music', 'South Pacific', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Bare: A Pop Opera', The Australian Premiere of 'Snapshots' by Stephen Schwartz, 'Sweet Charity', 'Pippin', 'Grease', 'Anything Goes'. and 'Big Fish' among others. He also recorded drums for 'The Beautiful Dream' (2023) with Royal Caribbean. Check out Hayden's full discography here

Through his early years of playing has taken lessons from Wollongong based drummer Sally Wiggins from 2017-2020 along with further studies with David Lockeridge, Pete Skelton, Andrew Horvath, and Cameron Gregory. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree (majoring in Contemporary Music Performance) at JMC Academy, Sydney in 2024. He has also worked with some of Australia's most revered conductors including: Stanley Dodds previously of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Benjamin Northey of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Steve Williams, Nicolette Frallion, and Elizabeth Scott.
Hayden currently plays with Alyssa Delpopolo, Winner of The Voice Australia Season 14, 2025. On top of this, hehas amassed an impressive credit list as a studio musician performing and recording with artists based in Australia and overseas such as Lior, Mark Vincent, Greta Ray, Melanie Dyer, Claire Rozinkranz, Lexi Jayde and Lynne Shankel, Carmon, Avery Pickup, Farrah Dise and AJ Stanton. He has also contributed to the soundtracks of many Australian TV shows and short films including the 2022 reboot of 'Heartbreak 'High' as well as 'Soundtrack To A Teenage Zombie Apocalypse', 'Turn Up The Volume' and 'Surviving Summer'. and Edward Gay's debut short film 'No Worries, Mate' (2026).
